An IS master plan is the starting point for all these issues and an adequate tool to drive your information systems.
Ineum Consulting has developed a tooled methodology, based on its extensive experience that lets us quickly build your master plan. It relies on a close cooperation between business units and the IS department. The methodology is declined into five main steps:
- Strategic roadmap: identification of the corporate and business’ goals, identification of the information system requirements.
- Alignment of IS with business: how close do the existing information systems match the business needs? How compatible are they with the business strategy?
- Identification of scenarios: initiatives by business area and by process, assessment of their contribution to the goals.
- Selection of scenarios and projects: based on an assessment of complexity, risks, workload and priorities.
- Planning: definition of the IS/business integrated vision and of the associated projects portfolio.
